Indulgent nutty chocolate-pecan candy with a perfect balance of sweet and salty flavors. Ideal for sharing with a group.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 4 oz bittersweet baking chocolate
  • 4 oz white chocolate baking bars
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spread the pecans in an ungreased shallow pan and bake for 6 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn light brown. Lower the oven temperature to 225°F.
  • Line a 17x12-inch half-sheet pan with parchment paper and break each baking bar into 8 equal pieces. Arrange the pieces in a checkerboard pattern in the pan, alternating between bittersweet and white chocolate, ensuring the pieces touch.
  • Bake for a few minutes until the chocolate is melted. Then, place the pan on a cooling rack and swirl with a knife for a marbled design. Finally, sprinkle toasted pecans and salt evenly over the top.
  • Chill for 1 hour until solid. Then, break into pieces and keep in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 1 month.
