Elevate your gin and tonic with tangy preserved lemon for a refreshing twist on a classic cocktail.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 preserved lemon
  • 2 fluid ounces gin
  • 2 cups ice cubes, or as needed
  • 4 fluid ounces tonic water (such as Fever Tree)
  • 1 small sprig fresh rosemary
Instructions:
  • Using a sharp knife, carefully remove the pulp from the lemon and discard, while saving the peel. Rinse the peel lightly with cool water and slice off a thin sliver to set aside for garnish.
  • In a shaker, mix together lemon peel and gin. Gently crush the lemon. Add 1 cup of ice into the shaker, cover, and shake for 15 to 20 seconds until chilled.
  • Fill a rocks glass with ice, strain the cocktail, top with tonic water, and garnish with a lemon sliver and rosemary sprig.
