Ingredients:
  • 66.88 gm satay sauce
  • 52.50 gm lime juice
  • 600g beef rump steak
  • 3 Lebanese cucumbers
  • 125.00 ml fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 long red chilli, halved, deseeded, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • In a glass or ceramic dish, mix together satay sauce, 1 tablespoon of lime juice, and 1 tablespoon of cold water. Add beef and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes, if possible.
  • Create cucumber ribbons using a vegetable peeler, then mix them in a bowl with coriander, chili, and the rest of the lime juice. Toss everything together until well combined.
  • Preheat a greased barbecue plate or chargrill over medium-high heat. Grill beef for 3 to 4 minutes on each side for a perfect medium cook. Remove from heat, transfer to a plate, cover, and let it rest for 5 minutes before thinly slicing.
  • Combine the beef with a refreshing cucumber mixture before serving.
