Satay tempeh burgers

Whip up a delicious tempeh satay burger that appeals to all with our simple recipe!
Ingredients:
  • 4 tempeh burgers (see note)
  • 4 Turkish rolls, halved, toasted
  • 4 green oak lettuce leaves
  • 1 carrot, peeled, grated
  • 2 small Lebanese cucumbers, peeled, thinly sliced lengthways
  • 125.00 ml fresh coriander leaves
  • 88.28 gm mild satay sauce
  • 83.33 gm light coconut cream
  • 20.80 gm tomato sauce
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over low heat, blend satay sauce, coconut cream, and tomato sauce. Stir and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until warmed. Set the sauce aside.
  • In a frying pan over medium heat, heat oil. Cook burgers for 2 minutes on each side or until heated through. Place on a plate lined with paper towel.
  • On plates, layer roll bases with lettuce, burgers, carrot, and cucumber. Drizzle with sauce, add coriander, and finish with roll tops. Serve and enjoy.
