  • 8 ounces fully cooked kielbasa or Polish sausage, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, let water, lentils, and onion mingle over gentle heat until they reach a lively boil. After 15 minutes, introduce sliced sausage and sprinkle with aromatic cumin, salt, and pepper. Let everything simmer gently for another 5 to 10 minutes until the lentils are tender.
