Flavorful sheet-pan dinner with veggies, Italian sausage; perfect for families, minimal effort.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 10 ounces baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 large carrot, sliced
  • 0.5 red onion, roughly chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons grated Pecorino Romano cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 mild Italian sausage links
Instructions:
  • Heat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Combine broccoli, baby potatoes, carrot, and onion in a spacious bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, mustard, Pecorino Romano cheese, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are coated. Spread the veggies evenly on a sheet pan, then nestle the sausages alongside, ensuring they touch the bottom of the pan.
  • Roast in the preheated oven, turning sausages and vegetables halfway through, until sausages are cooked through, about 30-35 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to check if the sausages reach 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
