Mouthwatering, hearty quiche perfect for any meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound small fresh button mushrooms
  • 1 pound ground pork breakfast sausage
  • 0.5 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup half-and-half cream
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked 9 inch pie crust
Instructions:
  • - Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). - Get those mushrooms ready by snipping off the stems and cutting them in half if they're on the larger side.
  • In a large skillet, cook the crumbled sausage and mushrooms over medium-high heat until lightly browned and the mushroom liquid evaporates. Remove excess grease, then stir in the parsley.
  • Combine eggs, cream, cheese, and salt in a large bowl. Mix well, then fold in the mushroom and sausage mixture. Transfer everything into the pie shell.
  • Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the filling is firm. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
