Quick and savory sautéed mushrooms topped with fresh parsley, ready in just 25 minutes - the perfect side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 lb mushrooms, sliced (6 cups)
  • Chopped fresh parsley, if desired
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat along with all the ingredients except for the mushrooms and parsley. Add the mushrooms and stir well.
  • Sauté mushrooms for 4 to 6 minutes, stirring often until they turn golden brown. Garnish with fresh parsley.
