Savory Sausage and Egg Bake

Flossie Johnson's irresistible Savory Sausage and Egg Bake from the Betty Crocker Racing Family collection is always a hit with her loved ones.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage, cooked and drained
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms (4 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped (1 1/2 cups)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 ounces)
  • 1 1/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 12 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously grease a 13x9x2 inch rectangular baking dish. Arrange sausage, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and cheese in layers in the baking dish.
  • Combine the remaining ingredients using a wire whisk or fork, then pour the mixture over the cheese in the baking dish.
  • Bake without covering for 30 to 35 minutes, or until deliciously golden brown and fully set.
