Scalloped potatoes

Ingredients:
  • 1kg golden delight potatoes, peeled
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 40.00 ml plain flour
  • 450.63 gm milk
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. 2. Boil potatoes in a large saucepan of salted water for 10-12 minutes until just tender, then drain and set aside to cool for 5 minutes. Slice thinly.
  • Combine potatoes, onion, and flour in a bowl, tossing to coat evenly. Transfer the mixture to a 5cm-deep, 20cm x 30cm ceramic baking dish. In a jug, mix milk, garlic, and parsley. Pour the flavorful milk mixture over the potato mixture.
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown, about 35 to 40 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
