Indulgent seafood Alfredo with shrimp, scallops, and fettuccine - a gourmet delight surpassing restaurant quality!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package dry fettuccine noodles
  • 1.5 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound medium shrimp - peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound sea scallops
  • 2 cups half-and-half cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your ingredients.
  • Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a vigorous boil. Cook fettuccine until al dente, about 8 minutes.
  • In a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add green onions and garlic, sauté for 1 minute. Add shrimp and scallops, cook for 3 minutes, then lower the heat to medium-low.
  • Pour in the creamy half-and-half, season with a touch of salt and pepper, and stir continuously until it simmers but doesn't boil. Slowly incorporate 1/2 cup of savory Parmesan cheese; cook and stir for 1 more minute before taking it off the heat.
  • After draining the pasta, combine it with the sauce in the skillet until well coated. Finish by sprinkling the rest of the Parmesan on top and serve immediately.
