Savory fettuccine pasta with fresh seafood and tomato - a delicious fusion.
Ingredients:
  • 400g fettuccine
  • 18.40 gm oil
  • 40.00 ml dill, chopped
  • 550g jar classic tomato pasta sauce
  • 600g deli marinara mix
  • few drops tabasco sauce
  • 1 onion, halved, sliced
  • 1 lemon rind, finely grated
  • Crusty bread, to serve
Instructions:
  • Boil the fettuccine in a large saucepan according to package instructions. Drain and return it to the pan.
  • Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Sauté onion until soft, about 5 mins. Stir in 1 tablespoon of dill and cook for 1 min. Add pasta sauce and 1/2 cup of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, then mix in marinara mix and Tabasco. Simmer for 5 mins until seafood is cooked through.
  • Mix in the lemon zest and season according to your preference. Combine with the fettuccine and gently toss together. Sprinkle the rest of the dill on top and serve with crusty bread.
