Award-winning 2009 seafood BLT salad recipe with a tasty twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Suddenly Salad® ranch & bacon pasta salad mix
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cans (6 oz each) lump crab meat, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled (1/4 cup)
  • 2 cups thinly sliced iceberg lettuce
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped and drained (1 1/2 cups)
Instructions:
  • Pour the Pasta mix into a 3-quart saucepan filled 2/3 full of boiling water. Cook uncovered over gentle boil for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Combine the Seasoning mix, mayonnaise, milk, and lemon juice in a large bowl. Gently fold in the crab meat, green onions, and bacon.
  • After cooking the pasta, give it a refreshing cold water rinse and a good shake to remove excess water. Mix the pasta into the salad, cover, and let it chill in the fridge for an hour. When ready to serve, gently combine with lettuce and tomatoes for a delicious finish.
