Delicious side dish for Tofu & Pumpkin Green Curry.
Ingredients:
  • 24.00 gm sesame seeds
  • 750ml (3 cups) water
  • 360g (3 cups) long-grain brown rice
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, toast sesame seeds by tossing for about 1 minute until lightly golden.
  • - Pour the water into the pot. - Turn up the heat to high until the water boils. - Stir in the rice and let it come back to a boil. - Lower the heat to medium-low, partially cover, and simmer for 10 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. - Take the pot off the heat and fluff the rice with a fork. - Season with salt and pepper to taste. - Serve the rice in individual bowls and generously top with curry.
