Succulent grilled sesame salmon, marinated in soy sauce and topped with sesame seeds - a simple, speedy, and mouthwatering dish.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup light soy sauce
  • 1.5 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pound salmon fillets
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • Combine soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic in a bowl and whisk until the marinade is well blended. Reserve 1/4 of the marinade for later use.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and generously coat them with the flavorful marinade. Seal the dish with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for 5 minutes to enhance the taste.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm up the sesame oil.
  • Take the salmon out of the marinade, letting any extra marinade drip off, and gently lay it in the sizzling oil, skin-side up; cook for 4 minutes. Dispose of any remaining marinade in the dish. Turn over the salmon, pour the saved marinade, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Continue cooking the salmon until it easily flakes with a fork, which should take about 5 to 7 minutes. Flip the salmon, discard the skin, and cook for an additional 1 minute.
