Crisp vegetables sautéed in fragrant sesame oil, finished with savory soy sauce and sesame seeds.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound broccoli
  • 0.25 pound fresh snow peas, strings removed
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1/4-inch strips
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 0.25 cup Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 0.5 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • Prepare the broccoli by trimming, leaving a 1-inch stem, and cutting the remaining stems into small slices. Boil broccoli and snow peas for 1 minute, then promptly rinse with cold water and drain well before setting aside.
  • Heat a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add sesame oil, blanched broccoli, snow peas, red onion, red bell pepper, and garlic. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Add soy sauce and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and stir in sesame seeds.
