Quick and delicious Japanese sauce for crispy pork cutlets - ready in just 10 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 65g breadcrumbs
  • 50g sesame seeds
  • 40.00 ml plain flour
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 4 x 200g pork cutlets, trimmed
  • Sunflower oil, to shallow-fry
  • Radish, thinly sliced, to serve
  • Mixed micro herbs, to serve
  • 40.00 ml kecap manis
  • 36.60 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • 100ml tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1.25 gm ground ginger
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, and flour; season. In another bowl, combine eggs and 1 tbsp water. Dip pork cutlets in egg mixture, then coat in breadcrumb mixture. Place on a baking paper-lined tray. Heat oil in a frypan, add cutlets, and cook for 3 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  • Combine all tonkatsu sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  • Garnish cutlets with tonkatsu sauce, radish, and micro herbs before serving.
