Whip up flavorful sesame garlic ramen noodles in just 15 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3.5 ounce) package ramen noodles (flavor packet discarded)
  • 1.25 cups water, divided
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Sriracha sauce, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 pinch toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 pinch black sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • Pour slightly less water into a saute pan and bring to a vigorous boil over medium-high heat. Add ramen noodles and cook until softened, approximately 3 minutes.
  • Simmer water gently and use tongs to delicately flip noodles until soft and easily separated.
  • When the water has almost evaporated, stir in sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until aromatic, approximately 1 minute. Mix in the reserved 2 tablespoons of water, Sriracha, and hoisin sauce with the noodles. Plate immediately and garnish with red pepper flakes, toasted sesame seeds, and black sesame seeds.
