Make festive St. Patrick's Day treats with shamrock shaped Lucky Charms - a fun and easy snack!
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 (10 ounce) package marshmallows
  • 3 drops green food coloring, or as needed
  • 6 cups frosted toasted oat cereal with marshmallows (such as Lucky Charms®)
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 9x13-inch pan by lining it with parchment paper and giving it a generous coating of nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large saucepan, gently melt butter over low heat. Stir in marshmallows until fully melted. Take off the heat and blend in a few drops of green food coloring to achieve your preferred shade.
  • Combine the cereal with the gooey marshmallow mixture in a spacious bowl, stirring until every crunchy piece is nicely coated.
  • Press the cereal mixture into the pan using a greased spatula, ensuring an even distribution. Allow it to cool before proceeding.
  • After cooling, lift the treats out of the pan using the parchment paper and transfer them onto a cutting board. Use a shamrock cookie cutter to create shamrock-shaped cereal treats.
