Tender chicken in tangy BBQ sauce with sweet onions cooked low and slow for an irresistible family dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 cup chopped sweet onion (such as Vidalia®)
  • 1 cup barbeque sauce
Instructions:
  • Place tender chicken breasts into a slow cooker and generously layer with aromatic onions and tangy barbecue sauce.
  • After cooking on High for 4 hours, shred the chicken using 2 forks and simmer on Low for an additional 4 hours.
