Grill fresh fruits and shrimp with savory teriyaki sauce for bold flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 16 (6-inch) bamboo skewers
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 teaspoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 lb uncooked deveined peeled large shrimp
  • 16 (1-inch) cantaloupe cubes
  • 16 (1-inch) honeydew melon cubes
  • 16 (1-inch) fresh pineapple pieces
  • Pineapple slices, if desired
Instructions:
  • Soak skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning. While they soak, combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Thread shrimp, melon, and pineapple pieces onto 16 wooden skewers in alternating order.
  • Preheat broiler. Arrange kabobs on broiler pan positioned 4 to 6 inches from heat. Brush kabobs with sauce and broil for 8 to 10 minutes until shrimp are pink, remembering to turn and brush with sauce regularly. For a fun presentation, serve kabobs on fresh pineapple slices.
