Indulgent shrimp and potato chowder with creamy, wine-infused sauce, topped with sauteed onions and celery.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup sliced celery
  • 0.33329999446869 cup finely diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, diced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups cubed potatoes
  • 0.5 pound frozen cooked shrimp, thawed and drained
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Saute celery and onions in margarine in a large stock pot.
  • Combine the velvety cream cheese with the smooth milk, and gently stir over low heat until the cream cheese is fully melted.
  • Combine the potatoes, shrimp, dry white wine, and salt in a heated pan. Stir occasionally until thoroughly heated, then serve.
