Elevate green beans with authentic Sichuan spices.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 500g green beans, cut into 5cm lengths
  • 1/2 tsp Sichuan peppercorns, lightly crushed
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 48.80 gm Panda oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp chilli bean paste
  • 4.00 gm brown sugar
  • 6.00 gm sesame seeds, toasted
  • Sliced fresh red chilli, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a hot wok, sizzle the oil then toss in the beans, stir-frying until just tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Sauté peppercorns, ginger, and garlic until fragrant. Stir in oyster sauce, chili bean paste, and sugar until well heated and combined.
  • Transfer the dish to a stylish platter and generously sprinkle with sesame seeds and thinly sliced chili for a burst of flavor and color.
