Transform silken tofu with pantry staples into a quick and satisfying vegan dish in minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16-ounce) packet silken tofu (see Recipe Note)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Chinese sesame sauce (see Recipe Note)
  • 1 scallion, trimmed and thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons toasted or untoasted sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • 1. Drain the tofu and release it from its packaging onto a large plate. Slice the tofu into 1/2-inch wide slabs, then fan them out gently using the palm of your hand.
  • To serve, generously drizzle with soy sauce and sesame sauce, then top with scallions and sesame seeds. Enjoy immediately, or refrigerate tightly covered for up to 2 days.
