Indulgent 6-ingredient chocolate brownies for a timeless treat.
Ingredients:
  • 200g Baking Dark Chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 150g butter, chopped
  • 3 eggs, lightly whisked
  • 215g (1 cup) caster sugar
  • 35g (1/3 cup) cocoa powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 160C/140C fan forced. Grease and line a 16 x 26cm slice pan with non-stick baking paper, leaving the sides to overhang.
  • Combine chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water, stirring occasionally until smooth. Let it cool for 5 minutes.
  • Gently fold the beaten egg into the chocolate mixture. Sprinkle over the sugar, flour, and cocoa powder, and carefully mix until just combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the pan, using the back of a spoon to ensure it reaches the corners and smooth out the surface.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out with crumbs clinging to it. Allow it to cool in the pan for 6 hours or overnight before serving.
