Skinny Tropical Papaya Smoothie

Summery papaya yogurt smoothie ready in 10 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 of a medium papaya, peeled, seeded, and chopped (3/4 cup)
  • 1/2 cup Cascadian Farm™ organic frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup fat-free milk
  • 1/2 cup Yoplait® fat-free plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 large ice cubes
  • Papaya or strawberry slices (optional)
  • Fresh mint (optional)
Instructions:
  • Blend together papaya, strawberries, milk, yogurt, and honey until smooth. While blending, add ice cubes one by one until crushed and smooth. Pour into tall glasses, garnish with papaya or strawberry slices and mint if desired, and serve immediately.
  • For the perfect papaya, opt for ones that are partly yellow and gently yield to pressure. Look for a smooth skin without bruises or overly soft areas. To ripen a firm papaya, leave it at room temperature for 3 to 5 days until mostly yellow or orange. Keep a ripe papaya in a paper or plastic bag in the fridge for up to 1 week.
