Tangy BBQ sauce perfect for grilling chicken, pork, or ribs. Great for marinating or brushing on while cooking.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons mustard powder
  • 0.25 cup wasabi powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
  • 3 cups ketchup
  • 0.5 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped onion
  • 0.5 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, mix together mustard powder, wasabi powder, salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper, honey, and 1/4 cup beer. Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, onion, and cilantro until well combined.
  • Place a saucepan on the stovetop over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for at least 1 to 1 1/2 hours, adding beer as necessary to maintain a slightly thinner consistency than ketchup.
