Delicious twist on a classic recipe: ground beef cooked with chicken gumbo soup, ketchup, and mustard. Serve on toasted buns with mayo, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed chicken gumbo soup
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1.25 cups water
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet heated over medium heat, sear the meat until browned, then carefully remove any excess grease from the pan.
  • Combine the soup, ketchup, yellow mustard, water, salt, and pepper in a pot. Cook over medium-low heat without a lid for approximately 1 hour until the liquid is absorbed and the mixture thickens.
