Tender slow-cooked ribs smothered in flavorful barbecue sauce for a mouthwatering, fall-off-the-bone experience.
Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds baby back ribs, trimmed
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.5 onion, sliced
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce
Instructions:
  • Assemble all the ingredients needed for the recipe.
  • Generously sprinkle ribs with a blend of salt and pepper.
  • In the slow cooker, gently pour in 1/2 cup of water. Next, layer in the ribs followed by scattering the onion and garlic over the top. Cover and slow cook on Low for 8 hours or on High for 4 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C as the ribs near completion.
  • Place the tender ribs on a baking sheet, letting go of the onion and garlic. generously smother the ribs with delicious barbecue sauce.
  • Bake ribs until the sauce caramelizes and sticks to the meat, about 10 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
