Slow-cooked butternut squash with apple juice and butter.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) butternut squash - peeled, seeded, and cut into cubes
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • In a slow cooker, mix butternut squash with apple juice. In a separate bowl, whisk together butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon, then drizzle over the butternut squash.
  • Slow cook for 6 to 8 hours on Low heat.
