Creamy white wine and mushroom chicken slow-cooked to perfection. Only 5 simple ingredients and so delicious, it will impress your guests. Even non-chicken lovers will ask for seconds. Serve with rice or noodles.
Ingredients:
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • paprika to taste
  • 0.5 cup dry white wine
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions:
  • Season chicken breasts with a delicate balance of salt, pepper, and paprika according to your preference, then transfer them to a slow cooker.
  • Combine wine, condensed soup, and mushrooms in a mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, mix sour cream and flour. Stir sour cream mixture into mushrooms and wine. Pour over chicken in the slow cooker and sprinkle with extra paprika, if desired.
  • Cover and simmer gently for 6 to 8 hours on Low heat.
