Quick and easy cheat's Giouvetsi-inspired dump dinner ready in 10 minutes. Garnish with creamy feta for extra flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1kg diced casserole beef
  • 400g can diced tomatoes
  • 60g (1/2 cup) chopped frozen onion
  • 44.40 gm tomato paste
  • 250ml (1 cup) Beef Style Liquid Stock
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) red wine
  • 4 dried bay leaves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5.00 gm raw sugar
  • 150g (2/3 cup) dried risoni pasta
  • 100g feta
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh continental parsley
  • 1 lemon, rind finely grated
Instructions:
  • Add the beef, tomato, onion, tomato paste, stock, red wine, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, and sugar into the slow cooker. Mix well. Cover and cook on High for 3 1/2 hours or until the beef is tender.
  • Combine the pasta in the slow cooker, ensuring it's well mixed. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until pasta is al dente. Season to taste.
  • Serve the beef mixture on plates, then top with crumbled feta, parsley, and lemon rind for a delicious presentation.
