Slow Cooker Sweet Potatoes (Yams) and Marshmallows

Make Thanksgiving easier by slow cooking marshmallow sweet potatoes instead of baking.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (29 ounce) cans sweet potatoes, drained
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 0.75 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 (16 ounce) package miniature marshmallows
Instructions:
  • Coat the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • Place the sweet potatoes in a slow cooker and top them with butter, then generously sprinkle them with brown sugar.
  • Cook on High for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Then, add marshmallows and cook until they are soft and slightly puffy, approximately 15 minutes.
