Slow bake drumsticks in tangy barbecue sauce until tender and succulent.
Ingredients:
  • 5 pounds chicken drumsticks
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup barbeque sauce
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your ingredients. Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C) and grease a baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Lay chicken drumsticks in the pan and generously season with Cajun seasoning, poultry seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dust the top with flour, then coat the chicken with cooking spray. Seal the baking pan with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven until the juices run clear, approximately 2 1/2 hours.
  • Uncover the chicken and drizzle barbecue sauce evenly on top.
  • Bake the chicken uncovered for an additional 30 minutes until it is tender and falling off the bone.
