Slow-cooked chicken drumsticks infused with exotic tropical flavors, ideal for entertaining.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki marinade and sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 lb chicken drummettes (about 24)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and cover a 13x9-inch pan with foil.
  • In a 1-quart saucepan, bring all ingredients (excluding chicken) to a boil, stirring occasionally. Place the chicken in the pan and pour the sauce over it.
  • Roast chicken uncovered for about 1 hour, ensuring to turn it 2 to 3 times, until the juices run clear when thickest pieces are cut.
  • Prepare your 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with a light coat of cooking spray. Add the chicken to the slow cooker, cover, and let it stay warm on the Low setting for up to 2 hours.
