Effortlessly cook delicious Asian pork ribs in a slow cooker for a satisfying meal.

  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/3 cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon grated gingerroot or 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil, if desired
  • Fresh cilantro leaves, if desired
Instructions:
  • Add the ribs to a 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, then layer with onion slices. Combine the remaining ingredients (excluding cilantro) and pour over the ribs and onion.
  • Slowly braise the ribs on low heat for 8 to 10 hours until they reach a tender texture.
  • Transfer the ribs to a serving platter and cover to keep warm. Remove any fat from the surface of the cooking juices. Serve the ribs with the sauce and garnish with fresh cilantro.
