Tender slow-cooked pork ribs in a savory sauce for a mouthwatering meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 3 pounds country-style pork ribs
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion, or more to taste
  • 0.33333334326744 cup hoisin sauce
  • 3 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over high heat, heat the peanut oil until sizzling. Brown the ribs evenly for about 5 minutes, then set aside.
  • Combine tomato sauce, dried onion, hoisin sauce, and shiitake mushrooms in a slow cooker. Coat the ribs in the sauce mixture.
  • Slow cook until the ribs are irresistibly tender and falling off the bone, for 8 to 10 hours.
