Slow-Cooker Easy Slow-Cooker Pot-Roasted Steak

Slow-cooked goulash with rich flavors from paprika and onions, using a prepared soup mix for depth of taste.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 lb boneless beef top round steak (1 inch thick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup julienne cut (2x1/8x1/8 inch) carrots
  • 1 jar (4.5 oz) sliced mushrooms, undrained
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 tablespoons dry onion soup mix (from 1-oz package)
Instructions:
  • Coat a slow cooker with cooking spray. Season beef with paprika and pepper, then cut into 4 pieces and add to the slow cooker.
  • Combine the carrots, mushrooms, soup, and soup mix in a medium bowl, then pour the mixture over the beef.
  • Cover and simmer on low heat for 5 to 6 hours.
  • Present the steak adorned with flavorful gravy and colorful vegetables.
