Indulge in a comforting slow-cooked turkey dinner with hearty potatoes, baby beans, and carrots.
Ingredients:
  • 3 medium Yukon gold potatoes, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 turkey thighs (about 3 pounds), skin removed
  • 1 jar (12 ounces) home-style turkey gravy
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 bag (1 pound) frozen baby bean and carrot blend, thawed and drained
Instructions:
  • Prepare your slow cooker by layering the potatoes at the bottom, followed by arranging the turkey on top. In a separate bowl, combine all remaining ingredients except the vegetables until a smooth mixture is achieved. Pour this mixture over the potatoes and turkey in the slow cooker.
  • Cook the turkey on low heat for 8 to 10 hours or until the juice is no longer pink when the thickest pieces are cut. Then, add in the vegetables.
  • Simmer gently, covered, for about 30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  • Using a slotted spoon, elegantly transfer the tender turkey and flavorful vegetables from the slow cooker. Stir the delectable sauce and serve it all together for a delightful dining experience.
