Elevate jarred pasta sauce with flavorful Italian sausages, garlic, peppers, and onion.
Ingredients:
  • Reynolds™ Slow Cooker Liners
  • 1 package (19.5 oz) turkey Italian sausages, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup finely chopped sweet onion
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped (2 teaspoons)
  • 2 medium yellow bell peppers, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 medium red bell peppers, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 jar (26 oz) tomato pasta sauce
  • 4 1/2 cups uncooked rotini pasta (12 oz)
  • 6 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Line your 5- to 6 1/2-quart slow cooker bowl with a Reynolds™ Slow Cooker Liner, ensuring a secure fit against the bottom and sides. Pull the top of the liner over the rim of the bowl. Combine all ingredients in the liner, except for the pasta and cheese.
  • Cover and simmer on low heat for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Prepare the pasta according to package instructions, then top with the sausage mixture and a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before serving.
