Elevate beef and mushrooms with savory beef gravy.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 lb boneless beef sirloin tip steak, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 jar (12 oz) beef gravy
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 package (8 oz) sliced fresh mushrooms (3 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 4 medium baking potatoes
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a 3- to 3 1/2-quart slow cooker, excluding flour, water, and potatoes.
  • Cover and simmer gently on Low heat for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Combine flour and water in a small bowl, then stir into the beef mixture. Increase heat to High, cover, and cook for 15 to 20 minutes until thickened.
  • Pierce potatoes all over with a fork. Arrange in a spoke pattern with narrow ends in the center in a microwave-safe dish. Microwave for 12 to 14 minutes, turning once, until tender. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Divide the cooked potatoes and gently crush them with a fork. Top the potatoes with the savory beef and mushroom mixture.
