Set up a DIY wrap station with a slow cooker for your next gathering.
Ingredients:
  • 2 lb turkey breast tenderloins
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 packets (1 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 2 packages (8.2 oz) Old El Paso™ Flour Tortillas for Soft Tacos and Fajitas (10 Count)
  • 2 cups bite-size pieces lettuce
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
Instructions:
  • In the slow cooker, layer the turkey with seasoned salt, pepper, onion, and water.
  • Cook the turkey covered on low heat for 6 to 7 hours, or until the turkey's juices run clear when the thickest pieces are cut into.
  • Take out the turkey from the slow cooker, and shred it using 2 forks. Measure the liquid in the slow cooker and add water to make 2 cups. Combine the dry seasoning mixes with the liquid in the slow cooker and mix well. Add the shredded turkey and stir until evenly coated.
  • Simmer covered on low for 1 hour.
  • Place a generous 1/4 cup of flavorful turkey in the middle of each tortilla. Layer with fresh, crisp lettuce and a sprinkle of cheese. Roll up the tortillas into mouthwatering bundles.
