Tender beef marinated in zesty lemon juice, herbs, and spices.
Ingredients:
  • 56.88 gm olive oil
  • 20.00 ml dried oregano
  • 1.5 kg beef blade roast
  • 2 lemons, juiced
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 160C (140C fan-forced).
  • In a large bowl, combine oil, lemon juice, and oregano. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add beef and coat well. Transfer beef and marinade to an oven bag, seal tightly with a tie, and place in a baking pan. Bake for 2 hours until beef is fork-tender.
  • Transfer the flavorful marinade from the oven bag into a saucepan. Let it simmer for 8-10 minutes until it thickens slightly. Drizzle the sauce over the roast, slice it thickly, and serve alongside your favorite vegetable side dishes.
