Slow-roasted beef brisket marinated in savory broth, soy sauce, and smoky liquid, then paired with a tangy horseradish sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (5 pound) beef brisket
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can beef broth
  • 0.75 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice
  • 0.75 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
Instructions:
  • Place the brisket in a sleek stainless steel or elegant glass container. Combine the broth, soy sauce, lemon juice, and liquid smoke in a small bowl, then pour the mixture over the brisket. Cover and chill in the fridge for 8 hours to overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Ready to start cooking!
  • Place the brisket into a 9x13-inch baking dish, and dispose of the marinade.
  • Roast in the oven until easily pierced with a fork, approximately 6 hours. Use an instant-read thermometer to check for doneness, aiming for a temperature range of 195-205 degrees F (91-96 degrees C).
  • Combine creamy cream cheese with zesty horseradish in a small bowl until fully mixed. Enjoy with tender brisket.
