Chicken breast in lemon white wine sauce - elegant and quick main dish perfect for guests.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - trimmed and cut in half crosswise
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.75 cup dry white wine
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon capers
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • Combine the flour, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Coat the chicken breast pieces with the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off any extra flour.
  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat until sizzling. Cook coated chicken breast pieces in the butter until golden brown, cooked through, and no longer pink inside, about 10 minutes. Turn chicken pieces frequently. Then, transfer the chicken to a plate and keep it warm.
  • Deglaze the skillet with white wine to release the delicious flavors. Add lemon juice, simmer on low heat for 10 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens, stirring occasionally. Mix in capers and return chicken to the skillet, coating it evenly with the sauce.
  • Transfer the perfectly cooked chicken to a beautiful serving platter. Cover it generously with the delicious sauce, and then adorn it with aromatic lemon slices and vibrant fresh parsley for a stunning presentation.
