Create delicious mince patties filled with zesty apple slaw for a crowd-pleasing burger.
Ingredients:
  • 500g 3 Star Pork Mince
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 Brioche Burger Buns, toasted
  • 20g rocket leaves
  • 36.40 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 20.00 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 14.40 gm honey
  • 1 Gala apple, cored, cut into matchsticks
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • 100g mayonnaise
  • 17.70 gm Dijon mustard
Instructions:
  • Combine oil, vinegar, and honey in a medium bowl. Add apple, onion, and parsley, then mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Combine the mayonnaise and mustard in a small bowl to create the flavorful Dijonnaise.
  • Preheat the grill on high. Shape the mince into 4 equal-sized balls. Heat a large heavy frying pan over high heat. Add two mince balls to the pan, then press with a spatula to flatten into approximately 1 cm thick patties. Season with salt and pepper, cook for 2 minutes until the base is crisp and browned. Flip the patties, season, and add cheese. Cook for another 2 minutes until browned and fully cooked. Transfer patties to a large baking tray. Repeat with the remaining mince balls.
  • 1. Grill the patties until the cheese melts, approximately 30 seconds. 2. Spread Dijonnaise on the bun bases. 3. Top the bun bases with the grilled patties. 4. Add rocket and apple slaw on top. 5. Cover with the bun tops and serve.
