Try caramel pretzels - a delicious twist on traditional caramel corn with mini pretzels and mixed nuts for the perfect sweet and salty snack!
Ingredients:
  • 15 ounces mini twist pretzels
  • 2 cups mixed nuts
  • 2 cups packed dark brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 pinch salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to a gentle 250°F (120°C).
  • Combine the pretzels and nuts in a 9x13-inch baking dish, setting them aside for later.
  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter, sugar, corn syrup, and salt over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Boil until the mixture thickens to the 'firm ball' stage (260 degrees F, 125 degrees C). Remove from heat and pour over the pretzel/nut mixture, stirring to combine.
  • After preheating the oven, bake for 20 minutes, remembering to stir halfway through. Once done, transfer to wax paper to cool and set.
