Easy 3-ingredient butter cookies: Simply mix butter, egg, and flour into cookie dough, roll in sugar, and bake for a heavenly treat.
Ingredients:
  • Flour, butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for cutout cookies
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Creamy White Frosting or 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
  • White decorator sugar crystals, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, flour, butter, and egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms.
  • Roll dough on a floured surface until 1/4-inch thick. Use 2 1/2- to 3-inch cookie cutters to cut shapes. Place cutouts 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 7 to 9 minutes until the edges are lightly golden brown. Let sit for 1 minute, then transfer from the cookie sheets. Allow to cool completely for about 15 minutes.
  • Frost the cooled cookies generously and adorn them with sparkling decorator sugar crystals. Keep the cookies fresh by storing them in a tightly sealed container.
