Use your bread machine to make fluffy burger and hot dog buns easily at home. Just mix, shape, raise, and bake for delicious results.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vital wheat gluten
  • 2.25 teaspoons active dry yeast
Instructions:
  • Add water, canola oil, flour, sugar, salt, vital wheat gluten, and yeast in the order specified by the bread machine’s instructions. Choose the dough cycle and start the machine. Prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • After the dough finishes its cycle, transfer it to a lightly oiled work surface and knead for 2 to 3 minutes. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces, then roll each piece into a smooth ball using the palm of your hand. Place the dough balls on parchment-lined baking sheets and gently flatten them into buns. Cover with a cloth and let them rise until doubled in size, about 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake rolls in the oven until the tops turn a beautiful golden brown, around 12 minutes. Allow them to cool on racks before slicing.
