Cream cheese-filled thumbprint cookies - pure delight!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a cookie sheet.
  • Make a luscious Cream Cheese Frosting with the provided recipe link.
  • Combine the butter and brown sugar in a medium bowl, creaming them together until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg yolk, then add the flour and stir until well combined.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls, coat with egg white, then space 1 inch apart on a baking sheet. Create an indentation in each cookie using your finger or the end of a wooden spoon.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes. Remove and fill indentations with luscious Cream Cheese Frosting. Pop back in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes until beautifully golden. Allow to cool for 1 to 2 minutes before gently removing from the pan.
